Nuclear Cooperation Project

This project ran from September 2015 to mid-2016 and focused on evaluating current baselines on nuclear cooperation agreements, analysing which key nuclear exporters have fall-back safeguards and right of return requirements in their agreements, and the reasons behind the decisions for/against including these requirements. The project also explores the practicalities of implementing such requirements in the event of a change in the conditions under which the materials, equipment and technology were provided.
